Learning
At Winton Primary School we provide a comprehensive and balanced curriculum. Our program provides high levels of Literacy and Numeracy as well as a love of the arts and enjoyment of sporting activities. We provide specialist classes for all students in Art, Library and Kitchen/Garden. Our Phys Ed program has been enhanced with the inclusion of the BluEarth Program across the school.
Art
Our travelling art teacher, Mrs Moore always puts a smile on the face of the kids at WPS. Students enjoy a plethora of creative activities where they are immersed in learning about the elements and principles of art and design. Students are always proud of their creations and can't wait to show them off at the end of each session.
Library
Students are always excited when the Library Van comes to visit WPS! Our travelling librarian, Katrina Davies is very passionate about sharing the joys of literacy and reading with our students.
Cooking
The students at WPS love Cooking! Each week the students are involved in creating a variety of yummy dishes, using seasonal produce from the veggie garden.
